A Life Cycle Celebrant is a personalized ceremony professional who customizes ceremonies for life events that reflect the needs, beliefs and values of the people they are honoring. We will work with you at length and in detail to co-create with you a personal ceremony that is unique to you and reflects you 100%. We officiate weddings, coupling ceremonies, engagements, mother blessings, baptisms, baby blessings, rites of passage, naming ceremonies, coming of age celebrations, dissolving marriages, coming out as a gay person, losing your job, moving out of your home, retirement passage, civic and corporate promotions, military and veteran’s ceremonies, moving into assisted living, funerals, end of life ceremonies and memorials, animal tributes, nature–based ceremonies,

Celebrants fill a niche for people who may be spiritual but not affiliated with a religious institution, as well as those not wanting a civic ceremony. Celebrants can also serve people of different faith backgrounds and sexual orientation.

We know that one ceremony does not fit all. Every wedding ceremony has its own flavor and every life transition is unique. We take the time to consult with you and craft a ceremony that is personal and reflective of the event at hand.

The work of a Celebrant is assisting people to understand the importance of marking life events with ritual and ceremony—acknowledging endings as well as beginnings, and the space in between.

I am a lover of ceremony and ritual, a writer, and a spiritual seeker. I am Rev. Theresa Crisci, an interfaith minister and Licensed Unity Teacher. I am very passionate about creating a loving, inspiring, reflective and one–of–a kind ceremony. 

I officiate in the Connecticut and the surrounding states.
